We had been coming to Joshua Tree for years, with the thought of eventually moving to this part of the High Desert that we had grown to love. It took some time, but we eventually found our dream property in a little cove of boulders, pines and junipers, on Rock Haven Road, adjacent to the national park.
We had only been here 4 years when our neighbors mentioned they were thinking of selling their weekend cabin. We jumped on it, thus reuniting the original 5 acre homestead parcel on which our house sits. We had gotten such a kick out of sharing this special place with family and friends, it seemed natural to extend the opportunity for others to experience the beauty and serenity of this unique spot — thus the creation of Rock Haven Cabin.
